What can I do with this app?

VC Complex App connects you to your office space to deliver a dynamic and truly innovative workplace experience. The app is used to gain access to the building, call elevators, and create room bookings. The app keeps you informed of upcoming building announcements and provides the capability to raise work order requests.

Is my personal information in the VC Complex App shared?

We may share information with our commercial tenants about how their workers are using and interacting with the VC Complex App. In most instances the information that we share with our commercial tenants will be aggregate. However, in some circumstances we may share identifiable information. For example, we may share access card information with a tenant in the event of a security incident, to monitor compliance with and enforce workplace policies or government orders, or in situations relating to health, safety or security of persons or property. We may exchange personal information with tenants in order to administer a user's access to, or termination from, the VC Complex App. If you submit feedback or a complaint through the VC Complex App that is more appropriately handled by our commercial tenant (who may be your employer or the organization that you are associated with), we will share your information with the tenant so they can address your concerns.

We use service providers to perform certain functions or provide or support certain services on our behalf. These service providers will access, store and process personal information as necessary to perform these services on our behalf.

We also may share anonymized or aggregated data with third parties, including our service providers.

How do I sign up and log in?

There are two ways to log into the VC Complex App which will be based on your organization's decision on access. Either you will log in through your organization's email or you will be issued a user id/password to obtain access to the app. Information on which approach your organization is using is available from your organization's Office Manager.

What devices and operating systems does this app support?

We support the latest Android and iOS devices and operating systems that are up to 3 years old. Some older but popular devices and operating systems are also supported. Check with the support team for detailed information.

Do I need an internet connection to use the app?

No internet connection is required to use the building access service (however bluetooth must be enabled). An internet connection is required to access most other services like elevator call which is time-sensitive and has actionable information or to allow the app to interact with other smart building systems.

Does the VC Complex App track my location? If yes, for what purposes?

Certain features of the VC Complex App offer location-based functionality, such as access card and elevator booking systems. In order to use these services, we will collect information about your location or the location of your device. You may be asked to enter this information manually, or to allow your device to share this information with us.

How do I automatically update the VC Complex App?

We will provide notice of application updates through the Announcement service on the VC Complex App. You can set your app to update automatically, see below for the steps to automatically update mobile applications.

iOS: Settings > App Store > Under automatic downloads set App Updates and under Cellular Data set App Updates to Automatic Downloads.

Android: Open the Google Play Store app > At the top right, tap the profile icon > Tap Settings > Network Preferences. Auto-update apps > Select an option: Over any network to update apps using either Wi-Fi or mobile data. Over Wi-Fi only to update apps only when connected to Wi-Fi.
