Celebrating Milestones: A Recognition of Dedication and Accomplishment

At GWLRA, we take great pride in fostering the growth and development of our team members, and it brings us immense joy to witness their journey with the company.

Every November, we gather to honour our staff who have achieved remarkable milestone anniversaries in their careers with us. This year, almost 100 employees are celebrating anniversaries ranging from 5 to 45 years with the organization.

Read on to hear from some of our service award recipients as they share their experiences working at GWLRA:

Allan Llana, Building Operator (10 years): “I have been with the company long enough that I have learned and experienced the objective of my task firsthand as a building operator. My career advancement is one of the most rewarding parts of my career as I can see myself excelling through years of experience and service.”

Lisa Fronda, Real Estate Accountant (20 years): “The advice that I would give to someone new to the company is to be honest, maintain a positive attitude and do your best. What is good for the company is good for you.”

Linda Cormier, Executive Assistant (25 years): “It’s been exciting working with Paul Finkbeiner and Ralf Dost over the years, as well as alongside amazing colleagues to grow the company’s assets. But, it’s been a joy to coordinate GWLRA’s home sponsorships and volunteer days with Habitat for Humanity GTA. We have sponsored 19 houses so far, and in turn, have helped 19 families build a better future, full of hope and promise.  What a legacy!”
